Crab Runs Away

I run in the opposite direction from where I saw the octopus. I bet you think that with all of my legs, I will just trip over myself. It really isn’t a problem though, because I run sideways! Yes, I look funny, but I can move really fast and I never trip over my own legs.

I am not paying much attention to where I go and run right out of the ocean into a tidal pool. The water is deep and I sink to the bottom. I look above me to see the long, dangling tentacles of a jellyfish. I don’t think the jellyfish is big enough to eat me, but I don’t want to take any chances.

I work my way to the edge of the tidal pool where the water is more shallow and climb out. I run back into the ocean as birds fly over my head. I find some coral and wedge myself underneath.
