We rent two bicycles with fat tires for riding on the beach. The beach is crowded, so there are areas where we have to ride in the soft sand near the dunes. That is tough and makes my legs hurt! Naturally, Renzo has no problem at all riding through the soft sand.
The crowds start to thin out a bit and we are able to make our way down to the water and ride in the surf and through the tidal pools. It is so much fun having the water spray up around us as we ride as fast as we can through the shallow water. We are not the only kids on the beach enjoying the tidal pools…
Having managed to avoid flattening any small children and my legs beginning to feel a bit squishy, it is time to return the bikes to the rental booth. It is also time for me to return to my towel on the beach!
