Larry Sleeps In A Burrow!

Larry finds a large hole at the base of a tree. It is lined with pine needles and leaves and is soft and cozy. He falls asleep instantly and wakes up hours later in the dark. He is hungry, but where shall he find food? There are no garbage cans. There are no restaurants. He remembers the fox chasing the rat. Maybe he needs to hunt for food.

Larry leaves the burrow and roams around the forest. He sees a small mouse foraging for food on the forest floor. He stalks the mouse preparing to pounce, but having never hunted before, his clumsiness alerts the mouse to his presence. The mouse quickly scurries away.

Larry chasing mouse

Larry tries to chase the mouse and winds up in a thicket of thorns, as the mouse runs freely into an open meadow beyond. Luckily for Larry, the thorny thicket is full of blackberries. The raccoon fills his belly full of the sweet fruit.

Now having slept and eaten, it is time for Larry to explore the forest.
