I chose to write about a career as a biologist. I didn’t pick a specialty within biology because I’m really not sure which specialty I would choose. It seems it would all overlap anyway. For example, if I became a marine biologist, I would probably still study plants that live in or around the ocean, as well as underwater animals and microorganisms.
My teacher liked my paper and gave me an “A.” Yes! She also told me that the city zoo sponsors an educational program for students interested in zoology. She suggested I give it a try. So, I enrolled in the zoo’s educational program, a one day introduction to zoology with the added perk of giving me a free pass from school for a day. Yay!
